I have focused for several years primarily on making upholstered headboards.  The experience has taught me what works with the design, the materials and the client needs.

I endeavor to use the best quality eco materials

I am often asked what the backing board is. I primarily use SuperFinish customwood a Daiken product because of its minimal formaldehyde emissions. If I won’t work with toxic or high emission products I don’t see that you should sleep with them. I aim to be as eco friendly as possible. I can not only tell you what’s in my headboards, I can show you. If you have a preference for a particular material let me know.

Do you know what to look for to ensure durability……quality and suitability of fabric, comfort …… quality of the foam or inner packing and  ecology ……toxicity of the materials used?

I offer competitive pricing and cut out the middle man

I don’t compromise on the best materials, design and service. Many hours and lots of love go into each product.  I use a base rate for each design then add the variables which are extra size, fabric  and trims.  I don’t make a cheaper product range with inferior materials but I can show clients how to make good design choices within a budget.

I offer two choices of attachments

I encourage the wall mounted option as it has been used successfully in hotels for years but pine legs are available if preferred.

I encourage scrutiny

I like my clients, if possible to make a 30 minute appointment and  come to my studio and workshop to get to feel and see the quality of my workmanship. This experience along with testimonials gives them the confidence to proceed. Not all headboards are equal.

I do consultations in the clients home in my local area

We can then co-ordinate the headboard into the bedroom setting, along with the appropriate furniture and accessories to ensure a beautiful look.

I keep up with all the latest fabric, bedroom and bed linen trends

I attend yearly trade shows , view the latest bed linen and fabric ranges. I follow pinterest, houzz, local and international magazines searching  for ideas and products to inspire me and assist you in choosing.
